Nayeli Gonzalez De La Cruz July 26, 2014 Nayeli Gonzalez De La Cruz, 22, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. She was born November 6, 1991 at Juarez, Mexico, the daughter of Jorge De La Cruz and Lorenza Murillo. She married Ivan Gonzalez on August 31, 2012 at Liberal, KS. He survives. Nayeli moved to Scott City, KS from her home in Mexico in 2005. She was a graduate of Scott City High School, class of 2010. In 2011 she moved to Liberal, KS. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed music and making party decorations. She is also survived by one son- Damian Gonzalez of Liberal, KS; two brothers- Jorge De La Cruz, Jr of Scott City, KS and Edgar De La Cruz of Scott City, KS; three sisters- Lorena De La Cruz of Scott City, KS; Cristina De La Cruz of Scott City, KS; Araceli De La Cruz of El Paso, Texas She was preceded in death by her father- Jorge De La Cruz. A Rosary service will be held at 9:30am Tuesday, July 29th at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal, KS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday July 29th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, KS with burial following at the Scott City Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in care of Miller Mortuary.
