ROLLO GENE DAY

Rollo Gene Day, age 83, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal, KS. He was born August 3, 1929 at Washington County, KS, the son of Elmer and Dolly (Coder) Day. He married Neva Robertson July 28, 1958 at Clayton, NM. She Survives. He was a Plant Manager for Liquid Carbonic for 13 years retiring in 1987. Rollo enjoyed, fishing, boating, camping and was a founding member of Arkalon Park . His survivors include 2 Sons - Donald Day and wife Terri of Blue Rapids, KS, Dean Robertson and wife Jeanette of Tyrone, OK; 4 Daughters - Leona Mashbrush and husband Duane of Citrus Heights, CA; Cynthia Avery and husband Leon of Colfax, WA; Carole Koenig and friend Dennis Holman of Greeley, CO; and Mary Neumann and husband Larry of Hondo, TX; 15 Grandchildren, 17 Great Children and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 5 brothers and 1 grandson. Visitation will be Tuesday June 25th from 10:00am to 8:00pm at Miller Mortuary. Graveside Service will be at 10:00AM Wednesday June 26th at Tyrone Cemetery in Tyrone, OK. with Bro. Wyatt Carpenter and Dean Robertson Jr. officiating.
