Dateline: Liberal Terral "Terry" Cokeley, 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Wheatridge Park Care Center, Liberal, after his battle with cancer. Terry was the son of Charlene (Cokeley) McBride and was born in Liberal, Kansas on February, 4, 1958. His vocation in his early years began in the oil field at age 17. He later became an accomplished carpenter and cabinet maker. Most recently he was employed at Southwest Medical Center, as a maintenance technician. He is survived by his son Chris Cokeley and fiance Amber of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His daughter Amber Tyrrell and husband Darrin of Collinsville, Oklahoma. Also surviving are sisters Sheryl Hickey and husband Pat of Houston, Texas. Cindy Osburn and husband Frank of Tomball, Texas, and Kim Gaylord of St. George, Utah. Brother Kevin Thompson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and loving friend Brenda Stegman of Liberal. He was also survived by two beloved grandchildren Dani and Elli and many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his mother Charlene, his sister Janet and his children's mother Jo. Celebration of life will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Miller Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 9am - 8pm Wednesday at Miller Mortuary. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery, Liberal.
