LuDessa Alice Prater

LuDessa Alice Prater, 98, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Center in Liberal, Kansas. She was born April 23, 1920 to Florence (Lindsey) and Edward Kenneth Richardson at Kismet, Kansas. She was married to Ell Pollard Prater who preceded her in death on November 16, 1982. LuDessa enjoyed working at the Coronado Museum and for the Liberal Convention and Tourism Bureau. She is survived by a son, Elton Prater and wife LaRee of Lubbock, TX; a granddaughter, Erin Prater of Lubbock, TX; a grandson, Adam Findley of Saint Joseph, Mo; grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her husband Ell, two step daughters, Marilyn Giles, and Sharron Giles. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm Monday at Liberal City Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Scroggs presiding.
