Adrian D. Ellexson

Turpin OK ˜ Adrian D. Ellexson, 81, Turpin, OK, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at his home. ˜ He was born June 20, 1930 in Liberal, KS, the son of Jerry & Jo Ella Barker Ellexson. ˜ He married Emmalene Isaac in 1949 in Turpin, OK. ˜ Adrian graduated high school at Turpin in 1948, he farmed for thirty-five years, drove truck for ten years and retired.˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ He delivered the Southwest Daily Times in the rural Turpin˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ community˜ following˜ his retirement. ˜ He is survived by two sons Jerry Ellexson and his wife Kathy Johnson, Honolula, HI˜ John Ellexson, Guymon, OK;˜˜ two daughters,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Janice Holt and husband Bruce, Oklahoma City, OK;˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Judy Roberts, Bartlesville, OK; nine grandchildren and˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ eight great-grandchildren.˜˜˜ He was preceded in death by his parents,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ two brothers and one great-grandson. ˜˜ Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the Miller Chapel with Rev. Terry Rediger presiding. ˜ Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery. ˜˜ Friends may call at the Mortuary˜ 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Friday˜ with family to greet friends 6:30-7:30 P.M.,˜ and 9 A.M. until service time Saturday. ˜˜ The family suggests that memorials be sent to the Diabetes Association in care of the mortuary.
