B J Rausher

B J Rausher, 59, Liberal, KS, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born May 18, 1951 at Nelson, NE, the son of˜ Clare & Edith Adams Rausher. B J graduated Nelson High School in 1969 and attended Tech School in Denver, CO, receiving a degree in auto mechanics. Living in Hebron, NE, he came to Liberal in 1973 working for Richard Rose Pontiac, Hasty Motors, City of Liberal for fifteen years and several years as parts manager at Chrysler Corner. B J loved to be with his family, watching NASCAR and an avid of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. On November 1, 1979, he married Leta I. Turpin at Perryton, TX, she survives. In addition to his wife Leta Rausher; he is survived by two sons, Billy J Rausher, NY; Christopher D. Dudley, Liberal, KS; two daughters, Rachel R. Rausher, Andover, KS; Joanne Schafer and husband Richard, Wichita, KS; his mother Edith Rausher, Council Bluffs, IA; one sister, Virginia Lynch and husband Edgar, Council Bluffs, IA; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father a daughter Rebecca Rausher. Funeral service will be conducted 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Western Avenue Church of Christ, with Ron Davis and Gerry Dupuis presiding. Cremation will follow funeral services. Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 10 A.M.-8 P.M.
