She was born on April 17, 1957 to Robert and Agnes (Kerschen) Fitzgerald at Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
Barbara was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1975. After high school she attended SCCC. Barbara worked as a dog groomer, and later worked in the Print Shop for USD 480. She was a Chairman for Liberal Area Agency on Aging, a Dog Trainer with the Seward County 4H , a member of the Church of the Resurrection online Bible Study of Overland Park, a member of the Five State Fair board, she was the high school newspaper advertising manager. Barbara loved dogs, cats, horses crocheting, gardening and singing,
Barbara is survived by her Brother, Larry Fitzgerald of Liberal, KS; Sister, Carol Hecox and husband David of Brunswick, GA; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends the Croy family and the Rohloff family..
She was preceded in death by parents
There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place. A family held urn burial will take place at a later day.
