Barbara Holman, 66, of Benbrook, TX, formerly of Liberal, passed away on Thursday July 9, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 28, 1960 to Willie Gray and Bruenetter (Hanley) Wrotten at Dumas, AR.

On April 29, 1983 she married Frankie Holman in Guymon, OK.

Barbara was well known and loved in the Liberal community, she had recently moved to Benbrook, TX to be closer to her family. She had worked as a CNA & CMA and as an Activity Director at Southwest Medical Center. Barbara had a comforting presence and loved being with people. She loved cooking, listening to music, singing, and being with her family. Most of all, she loved worshipping and serving God. For many years she served as a member of both the All Nations Church and the Believer's Ministry where she enjoyed teaching and singing.Barbara's generosity and loving spirit will continue through her many friends & family.

Barbara is survived by her loving Husband of 46 years together, Frankie Holman, Son, Frankie Holman, Jr. of Dallas, TX; Two Daughters, Kathrine (Trevor) Smith of Benbrook, TX, and Adrian (Kurt) Salley of Tyrone, OK; Two Stepdaughters, Adrienne (Eric) Mims of Amarillo, TX, and Tammy Lenear of Marietta, GA; Brother, Earnest (Therasia) Powell of Arkadelphia, AR; Two Sisters, Ida Marie (Robert) Eatmon of Liberal, KS, and Shirley (Troy) Cooper of Bentonville, AR; 12 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, lots and lots of Nieces & Nephews, and her loving dog, Junior. 

She was preceded in death by Father, Willie Gray, Mother, Bruenetter Wrotten, Three Brothers, Mack Jackson, Jr., Michael Jackson, and Richard Gray; and Two Sisters, Rosetta Gray and Henrietta Gray.

Viewing will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, 10:00 am at the First Southern Baptist Church, with Pastor Dalky Davis, officiating.Burial will follow in the Liberal City Cemetery. 

Memorials are suggested to the Believer's Ministry Church in care of Miller Mortuary, PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67901.
