Charles H. Ware

Tyrone, OK ˜Charles H. Ware, 88, Tyrone, OK, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS. ˜ He was born December 16, 1923 at Arnold, NE, the son of Charles F. & Hattie Blemn.˜ ˜ He attended school at Beaver, OK.˜ Charles was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U S Army Air Corps and was discharged as a Staff Sargent.˜ He moved to Liberal in 1948 and was a carpenter for Ideal Food Stores until retirement.˜ Following retirement he worked at the Wal Mart Store˜ until recently. ˜ On March 23, 1942, he married Billie J. Potter at Hooker, OK, she died March 22, 2004. ˜ He is survived by one son, Gary Ware, Mooresville, IN;˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ two daughters, Mickey Tannehill,˜ Rita Protzman and husband Robert all of Salina, KS; two sisters, June Richards, Laverne, OK; Mildred Patterson, Grand Junction, CO; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.˜ He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Fred & Darrell Ware, daughter Sherri Ware,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ grandson Mark Ware. ˜ Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Miller Chapel with Rev. Stanley Lehnert presiding. ˜ Interment with Military Honors will be in the Forgan Cemetery, Forgan, OK. ˜˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 4-8 P.M.
