Chuck Holcomb

Charles (Chuck) Arthur Holcomb, 68, passed away on Friday June 5th, 2026 in Wichita, KS.

He was born on November 4th, 1957 to Gene and Laverne Holcomb in Elkhart, KS. 

Chuck grew up in Hugoton and Rolla while living on the family farm. He was a graduate of Hugoton High School; class of 1977. He loved motorcycles especially Harley Davidson, rock music, and scary movies. Chuck would spend his time listening to music and dreaming of riding off on a Harley. While he didn't have any children of his own, Chuck loved his nephews and nieces with all his heart.

He is survived by two nephews: Wayne (Kayla) Holcomb of Texas and Calvin Holcomb of Liberal, KS; two nieces: Melinda (Shawn) Imler of Carl Junction, MO. and Samantha Holcomb of Liberal, KS; eight great nieces and nephews;three great great nieces and nephews along with his favorite cousin Tammie Sherrill or Tyrone, OK, who was there for him after his parents passed.

Chuck is proceeded in death by his parents Gene and Laverne Holcomb, as well as his brother Steven Holcomb.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday June 9, 2026 at the Rolla Cemetery in Rolla, KS.
