Clarence Raymond Applebee

Clarence Raymond Applebee, 77, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021 at the Southwest Medical Center . He was born on December 24, 1943 to Clarence and Nellie (Wallander) Applebee at Liberal, Kansas. On September 26, 1964 he married Connie Austrip at Liberal, KS; she preceded him in death on May 2, 1987. Clarence worked for years as an over the road Truck Driver; a career that he loved. He also enjoyed Car Races and Horses. Clarence is survived by his daughter, Shelly Stults and husband Daniel of Bauxite, Arkansas; two brothers, Mike Applebee and wife Judy of Liberal,Kansas, and Larry Applebee of Ocala, Florida; three sisters, Geneva Carolyn Hamilton of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Sharon Garcia and husband Jim of Liberal, Kansas, Gloria Bender and husband Larry of Balko, Oklahoma; Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and daughter in law, Jayme Applebee of Liberal, KS. He was also preceded in death by his parents, son- Gordon R Applebee, grandson, JT Phillips. There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
