David Hawk

David Lynn Hawk, 60, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday August 18, 2026 at his home.

He was born on November 19, 1965 to Harold Dean and Saundra (Hulcy) Hawk in Liberal, KS.

David enjoyed playing sports in his youth and graduated from Liberal High School, class of 1984. He had worked as a Roustabout in the Oilfield for many years. David was an OU and Green Bay Packers sports fan. He also enjoyed fishing.

David is survived by his children: Nevada Hawk of Edmond, OK, Cameron Hawk of Ravia, OK, Joey Hawk of Tecumseh, OK, and daughter, Hollie Hawk of Shawnee, OK; five grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Hawk of Liberal, KS and Danny Hawk of Hugoton, KS.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Hawk, mother, Saundra Sue Grover, brother, Douglas Roy Hawk; and sisters, Darla Hawk and Dena Sue Walsh.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30 am at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.
