Deborah Copeland

Deborah Ann Copeland, 73, of Tyrone, OK passed away on Sunday June 22, 2025 at the Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, KS.

She was born on March 11, 1952 to Jack and Alice Bennett.

On June 25, 1981 she married Frank Copeland at Tyrone, OK.

She attended school at Scandia, KS and went on to study at Fort Hays State University. Deborah worked as a Deputy Clerk for Seward County Court from 2000 until her retirement in 2023. Deborah enjoyed crocheting, holidays and most of all her family. 

Deborah is survived by her husband Frank; Daughter, Nickole Copeland of Tyrone, OK; Son, Bryan Woods of Tyrone, OK; Brother, Mark Bennett of Moundridge, KS; two Stepsons, Chris Copeland of Tyrone, OK and Eric Copeland of Enid, OK; one Stepdaughter, Amanda Griffith of Grove, KS; Nine Grandkids, and Four Great Grandkids. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, 10:00 am at the Tyrone Baptist Church, with Pastor Chuck Scroggs officiating. 

Burial will take place in the Tyrone Cemetery.
