DONALD H. SCOTT

Donald H. Scott, 86, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Wheatridge Park Care Center. He was born April 29, 1926 at Syracuse, KS, the son of Frank and Faye (Thompson) Scott.˜ He married Rosalee "Rose"˜ McCarter December 26, 1950 at Tucumcari, NM.˜ She survives. He attended Liberal schools.˜ He was a carpenter for Johns Construction and Cox Construction.˜ He was retired.˜ He was a member of the South Church of God, the skyhawk model airplane club, and the VFW.˜ His hobbies were building and flying rc airplanes.˜ He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. Other survivors include two sons, Terry Scott and wife Krista, Olathe, KS; Bruce Scott and wife Rhonda, Harrisonville, MO; daughter Pam Cammarn, League City, TX; and one sister, Lois Higgins and husband Dale, Oklahoma City, OK; six grandchildren; 10 great -grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at the South Church of God with Pastor Rusty Callahan.˜˜ Visitation will be˜ 3:30 P.M.-8 P.M.
