Estela Posas-Sanchez, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at her home in Liberal, KS . She was born October 27, 1936 at Olanchito, Honduras the daughter of Teofila Posas and Francisca Sanchez. She married Ciriaco Ponce in 2005 and moved to Liberal, KS in 2008. He Preceded her in death. Her survivors include 3 Sons - Ramon (Melaida) Ponce of Auburn, IN, Ciriaco Ponce of El Dorado, KS, Edwin (Martha) Ponce of Liberal, KS; 5 Daughters - Sara Ponce of Liberal, KS, Francisca (Juan) Ponce of Dodge City, KS, Dulce Ponce of Miami, FL, Silvia (Pablo) Hernandez of Garden City, KS, Ivis (Jorge) Velez of Dodge City, KS; 4 Sisters - Ines Posas, Julia Posas, Carmen Posas, Maria Posas.. of Honduras. 6 Brothers - Roberto Posas, Cruz Posas, Feliciano Posas, Reinaldo Posas, Carlos Posas, Mario Posas..of Honduras. 25 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 2 Sons - Santiago Ponce and Ciriaco Ponce, Jr., 1 Daughter - Suyapa Ponce and her parents. Visitation will be from 1:00PM to 6:00PM Friday at Miller Mortuary. Rosary Service is scheduled for 7:30PM Friday June 21, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday June 22, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
