Esther Brown

Esther Marie Brown, 85, of Tyrone, OK passed away on Thursday December 26, 2024 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS.  

She was born on March 4, 1939 to Philip and Mabel (Bennett) Schultz at Las Vegas, NM. 

On April 19, 1957 she married Alvis C. Springmeyer; he preceded her in death on August 15, 1970.On January 15, 1971 she married Edgar "Ed" Brown in Perryton, TX; he preceded her in death on February 20, 2011.  

Esther was a graduate of Liberal High School, class of 1957. She enjoyed visiting with her friends around the kitchen table. Esther also enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the Casino.She was a very caring woman who would always check in with her friends and family to see how they were doing. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. 

Esther is survived by her Son, Karl E. Springmeyer of Tyrone, OK; Three Daughters, Vicki Austin and husband Steve of Liberal, KS, Kim Painter and husband Tommy of Buffalo, OK, Janet Mongold and husband Richard of Liberal, KS; Sister, Doris House of Tyrone, OK; Nine grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.  

She was also preceded in death by her Parents, two Brothers, Charlie Schultz and Ronald Dean Schultz; three Sisters, Betty Lou Hanna, Reva Reffitt, and Jody Salley. 

Per Ether's wishes, there will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
