Liberal KS ˜˜ Grace E. Williams, 92, Liberal, KS, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center, Liberal, KS. ˜˜ She was born June 3, 1919 at St. John, KS, the daughter of James A. & Elizabeth P. J. Welsh Curtis. ˜ She graduated from˜ St. John High School and attended Business College in Dodge City for two years.˜ Moving to Liberal 1954, she was Legal Secretary for˜ Jim Wood & Grover Bryan, retiring in 1970's.˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ She was a lifetime member of the˜ PTA,˜ V.F.W. Lane Day Post #3166˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Auxillary and the South Church of God. ˜On September 24, 1939, she married Harold F. Williams at St. John, KS, he died September 4, 2007. ˜ She is survived by one son, Doug Williams and wife Sook, Buffalo Grove, IL; two brothers, Jim Curtis and wife Charlotte,˜ Denver, CO;˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Gene Curtis and wife Carol, Denver, CO;˜ three sisters, Micki Pedigo, Loveland, CO; Patty Sergeant and husband Ray, Hutchinson, KS; Wynona Fager,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Hays, KS.˜ She was preceded in death by her parents,˜ a brother Robert Curtis, two sisters Nell Shinkle & Lorraine Bachtold. ˜˜ Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, KS, with Rev. Roy Nelson presiding. ˜˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary˜ 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Wednesday.
