Hedy Jean Hull , 67, of Liberal, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 5, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

She was born on March 15, 1955 to Lowell and Norma (Calhoun) Short at Great Bend, KS.

Hedy married Craig Hull on April 17, 1981; they later divorced.

Hedy was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1973. Over the years Hedy had worked at Beech Aircraft, was a Receptionist at Southwest Beauty in the Southgate Mall, Clerk at Rafter J Liquor, USD 480 as a Bus Driver for special needs children, and Dillons Customer Service from which she retired from in 2022.

She enjoyed working in her yard, watching talk shows, bowling, drinking coffee, and listening to her scanner. She made many wonderful memories with her children & grandchildren traveling all over the state for her grandchildren's Bowling Tournaments. Hedy also made an annual Black Friday shopping trip to Oklahoma City with her lifelong friend Cherie Wolf. She also enjoyed traveling to Colorado to visit her son and daughter in law. Hedy loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; she cared for everyone she met and was lovingly known as "Motma".

Hedy is survived by her Daughter, Heather Wright and husband Michael of Turpin, OK; Son, Craig Hull, Jr. and wife Kari of Severance, CO; Two Granddaughters, Katie Lynn Jennings of Oklahoma City, OK, Kylie Jo Jennings of Liberal, KS; Two Great-Granddaughters, Reagan Jennings, Elaina Akridge; Two Great-Grandsons, Jayden Akridge, Kash Akridge; Three Grand-dogs, Bear, Irie, and Story.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Lowell Keith Short and her Mother, Norma Jean Short.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
