Herman Wilburn

Herman Wilburn, 77, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday December 16, 2025 at Southwest Medical Center.

He was born on February 27, 1948 to Henry and Rosa (Bell) Wilburn at Pickens, AR.

On May 20, 1970 he married Patricia Berry at the Dumas, AR.

In 1967 he worked for Beechcraft. In 1968 he was drafted into the US Army where he served his country in Vietnam. Upon arriving back in the US he married Patricia and moved to Liberal, KS the following day where he went to work as Maintenance Mechanic for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline for 40 years; retiring in 2017. 

Herman is survived by his loving wife Patricia, Two Sons, Herman Wilburn, Jr. of Denver, CO, Carlos Wilburn of Greeley, CO; Granddaughter, Julia Wilburn; Great Grandson, Grayson Wilburn.

There will be no viewing or services in Liberal. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, 10:30 am at Brown Funeral Home in Dumas, AR.

Burial will take place in the Curtis Hall Cemetery near Pickens, AR.
