Jackie Riley

Jackie Lee Riley, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 15, 2026 in Liberal, KS.

He was born on January 31, 1956, in Hugoton, Kansas and spent his life in Rolla, Kansas, where he attended school and was a familiar presence in the community.

Jackie had many special interests. He enjoyed reading, caring for cats, learning about computers, studying astronomy, and listening to classical and opera music. He had a deep appreciation for knowledge, music, and the world around him.

Jackie was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Dick” Wilson Riley (1905–1997); his mother, Dessie Lee Myers Riley (1915–1981); his sister, Devota Jean Riley Clair (1941–2019); and his brothers, Donald Wayne Hickman (1938–1939), Ronald Dean Scott (1943–1948), Gary Leonard Scott (1949–1959), and nephew, Edward Clair (1962-2025).

He is survived by his nieces, Becky Clair Rogers of Comfort, Texas, and Bobbi Clair of Elkhart, Kansas; and his nephews, Junior Clair of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Ernie Clair of Elkhart, Kansas.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.Urn Burial will take place at a later date.
