Javier Garcia Chavez, 72, of Liberal, passed away on Thursday May 28, 2026.

He was born on January 5, 1954 to Jose and Guadalupe (Garcia) Garcia at Chalchihuites, Zac, Mexico.

Javier worked as a Pipe Inspection for Flint Co. 

His survivors include his Wife, Rosalie Chavez; Children: Rosetta Thompson and husband Jeff Thompson of Sharon, OK, Isidro Chavez and wife Rosa Resendiz of Alejandro, Mexico, Saul Sanchez and wife Lidia Garcia of Chalchihuites, Zac, Mexico, and Lidia Chavez and husband Jesus Cabral; Grandchildren, Isaac Chavez of Woodward, Ok ; Sally Chavez of Weatherford, Ok; Mayre Chavez of Alejandro, Mexico; Kiara Deviney and husband Caleb Deviney of Woodward, Ok; Adam Perez and wife Paige Perez of Woodward, Ok; Rosie Castillo and husband Ihzan Castillo of Elk City, Ok; Christian Thompson and wife Anna Thompson of Mustang, Ok; Braydon Thompson of Seiling, Ok; Taylor Thompson of Sharon, Ok; Yareli Sanchez of Chalchihuites, Zac, Mexico; Javier Sanchez of Chalchihuites, Zac, Mexico; Jesus Cabral of Chalchihuites, Zac, Mexico; Neyda Cabral of Chalchihuites, Zac, Mexico; five Brothers; seven Sisters; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces ,nephews and great grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Jose Dolores Chavez, mother, Guadalupe Garcia, and his late daughter.
