Jerry Whisenhunt

Jerry Wayne Whisenhunt, 73, of Liberal, passed away on Monday March 9, 2026 at Wheatridge Care Park Nursing Home in Liberal, KS.

He was born on April 29, 1952 to Howard and Nell (Renfroe) Whisenhunt at Liberal, KS.

Jerry was a graduate of Liberal High School and went on to serve his country in the US ARMY during the Vietnam conflict. He worked as a machinist for many years and was working with Disco in Liberal before retiring.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Gary Whisenhunt of Shawnee Mission, KS and close friend, Pat Allen of Liberal, KS

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Don Whisenhunt.

As per Jerry's request, cremation will take place and there will be no public viewing or services.
