June R. Harvey

June R. Harvey, 79, of Liberal, passed away on June 22, 2016 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Liberal, Kansas. She was born on June 1, 1937 to Louis Franklin "Slim" and Gladys (Hedman) Keller, at Milbank, SD. June Spent her early years in Milbank, South Dakota, graduating High School in 1955 and moving to western Kansas where she has resided ever since. She worked as a bookkeeper for Harvey and Son Electric and earned a laboratory technician degree in Minnepolis, Minnesota. She was also a Lab Technician at Epworth Hospital and area doctor offices . On June 23, 1957 she married Wilbur Harvey in Garden City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2012. She was a member of the Cimarron Valley Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by Son - Joe Harvey of Liberal, KS; Two Daughters- Dianne Harvey of Liberal, KS and Dr.Suzanne Harvey, DVM of Buffalo, OK; Sister- Fran Coppersmith of Gettysburg, SD- Granddaughter, Jade Brown of Mustang, OK; Two Grandsons- William Harden of Enid, OK, and Robert Harden of Edmond, OK-one Great-granddaughter, Angel Brown of Mustang, OK; . She was preceded in death by her Parents - Son-in-Law Bob Harden - Daughter-in-law Carole Harvey. There will be no Public Visitation. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am, Monday June 27, 2016 at Arkalon Cemetery, with Pastor Rex Petty, officiating. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of June R.
