Mattie B. Phillis

Mattie B. Phillis, 80, died Monday May 28, 2012 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal Kansas. She was born July 13, 1931 in Scott City, Kansas. A long time Liberal resident, she was a homemaker. On September 2, 1949 she married Billy Keith Phillis. He died September 2, 1983. She is survived by one son Randy Phillis and wife Debbie of Grand Junction, Colorado. One daughter Steffani Martinez of Liberal. She is preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers George and Harry Bill Phillis. One sister Esther White. Friends may call from 9:00am to 7:00pm May 31, 2012 at Miller Mortuary, Liberal. Funeral service will be 10:00am June 1, 2012 at Miller Mortuary. Burial will be a Township Cemetery in Canton, Kansas.
