Bucklin KS ˜˜ Minnie M. Brune, 86, Bucklin, KS, died Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Hill Top Nursing Home, Bucklin, KS. ˜˜ She was born March 1, 1925 in Long Beech, California, the daughter˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ of Earl W.˜ & Cora L. Martz Scott. ˜ She graduated Liberal High School in 1945.˜ She had worked at Furr's Cafeteria, Ideal Foods.˜ Minnie volunteered with 4-H Clubs and taught children to sew,˜ she loved to square dance. ˜ She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Dodge City, KS. ˜ On May 31, 1949, she married Evain E. Brune at Guymon, OK, he died June 26, 2010. ˜ She is survived by two brothers, Earl Wm. Scott III and˜ wife Rosie,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Colorado Springs, CO; Charles Scott and wife June, Hemet, CA; six sisters, Martha Rohak and husband Dennis, Russell, MN; Ruth Trimmell, Garden City, KS;˜ Margaret Olgetree, Turpin, OK; Nancy Manley and husband Jerry, Patton, CO;˜ Kay Anderson, Colorado Springs, CO; Mary Manley and husband Bob, Calhan, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers. ˜ Funeral services will be conducted 10 A.M. Thursday at Miller Chapel with Pastor Randall Janhke officiating. ˜ Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery. ˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary˜ 9 A.M.-8 P.M.
