Liberal, KS ˜˜ Paul W. Payne, 67, Liberal, KS, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS. ˜˜ He was born October 17, 1943 at Sacramento, CA, the son of S. J. & Oleta Rogers Payne. ˜˜ Paul came to Liberal in 1958 and graduated Liberal High School in 1962.˜ He worked for Rosel Perforators, drove truck for Groendyke Transport,˜ in the oilfield over thirty years˜ for the past six years at C-F Supply. ˜˜ Paul was an avid golfer and a member of the Willow Tree Men's Golf, a member of the V.F.W. Lane Day Post #3166, Liberal, KS. ˜˜˜ On August 15, 1975 he married Linda J. Shover at Amarillo, TX, she survives. ˜˜ Other survivors include two sons, Brendon Payne, Ft. Worth, TX; Tyler Payne, Liberal, KS; one daughter, Delinda Holway and husband Scott, Burleson, TX; two grandchildren Alyssa Finley˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ & Mason Holway.˜ He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother. ˜˜ Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Monday at Miller Chapel. ˜˜ Graveside services˜ will be 3:00 P.M. Monday at Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg, KS. ˜˜˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Saturday and 1-8 P.M.
