Priscilla Archuleta, 85, of Liberal, passed away on Friday August 21, 2020 at the Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal. She was born on February 1, 1935 to Arsenio Medina and Maria Salazar at Mora, NM. In 1957 she married Fernando Archuleta at Holman, NM; he preceded her in death in 1995. Priscilla grew up in Northern New Mexico and Northeastern Colorado. She and her husband moved to Liberal in 1981. Priscilla was a stubborn little lady with a loving heart for all people and animals. She enjoyed walking, the outdoors, going fishing with her family, wearing red lipstick, visiting with people and drinking coffee with family & friends. In her younger years she also loved Spanish music and dancing. Her children fondly remember growing up with meals that she prepared for them over a wood-burning stove. Priscilla is survived by Three Sons, Fred Archuleta and wife Tracy of Liberal, KS, Ernie Archuleta and wife Dolores of Kismet, KS, Reuben Archuleta and wife Antoinette of Liberal, KS; Three Daughters, Sally Navarro and husband Victor of Liberal, KS, Liz Castillo and husband Polo of Turpin, OK, Marcella Archuleta and husband Robert Lopez of Dodge City, KS; Sister, Ann Orosco of LaJunta, CO; 21 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by parents, Stepmother, Rachel Medina, Son, Paul Archuleta, Stepbrothers, Luis Gonzalez and Luciano Gonzalez. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held.
