Liberal KS ˜ Richard R. Redden,˜ 76, Liberal, KS, died Saturday, November 27, 2010, at his home following an extended illness. ˜˜ He was born August 28, 1934 at Coeur d' Alene, ID, the son of Benjamin & Clara Wilcox Redden. ˜˜ Richard attended school in Butler, MO. He was a painter for many years working in several states, working for Standard Oil in California for eleven years.˜ He moved to Liberal in 1982, working Golden Corral, Gibson's and later at National Beef Packing.˜ ˜˜ He is a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving the U S Marine Corps. ˜˜˜ He is a member of the Montalvan Baptist Church, San Pablo, CA, the American Legion and NRA.˜ He loved to read and fishing. ˜ On October 4, 1964, he married Gezina W. Boonstra at Carthage, MO, she survives. ˜˜ In addition to his wife Gezina: he is survived by two sons, William Redden and wife Natasha, Mandan, ND; Frederick Redden and companion Nedra,˜ Edwards, CO;˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ one daughter, Clara Tyler and husband Steven, Perry, OK;˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ one sister, Dianna Carter and husband Ted, Willard, MO;˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ twenty seven half˜ brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren. ˜˜ Memorial services will be conducted 3:30 P.M.
