In Loving Memory
of Stephen “Steve” Malott
Remembering and honoring the life of Steve, a man whose presence, personality, and memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Steve had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. He loved camping, hiking, and spending time surrounded by nature. He found joy in exploring, experiencing the outdoors, and embracing life’s adventures. And if you knew Steve, you might also know that one of his favorite meals was the meatloaf from Cattlemen’s, a simple favorite that will surely bring back fond memories.
Steve was a man who knew how to show respect. Whether addressing someone with a sincere “ma’am” or sharing a little humor by sticking out his tongue, he had his own unique way of making an impression. His sense of humor brought smiles and laughter, and those small, unmistakable gestures were part of what made him who he was.
Above all, Steve demonstrated remarkable resilience. He faced cancer and overcame it, showing a strength and determination that should never be overlooked. His journey was a reminder that strength does not always have to be loud. Sometimes it is demonstrated through perseverance, courage, and the refusal to give up.
Steve was also a reminder to never underestimate someone. There was more to him than what met the eye, and his strength, character, humor, and determination told a story of their own.
Though his physical presence will be missed, the memories, laughter, lessons, and love he leaves behind will continue through everyone whose life he touched.
Steve will be remembered for his strength, his humor, his respect for others, and the unmistakable personality that made him one of a kind.
May he rest peacefully. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
