Terry Keith Overton, 65, of Turpin, OK got called home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
He was born on October 30, 1960 to Ace Keith Overton and Carolyn (Potter) Brewer at Guymon, OK.
On June 30, 1995 he married Lynn Krieger at Beaver, OK.
Terry grew up in the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles where he enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and especially his grandparents. Terry's career took him through wheat harvest from deep Texas to the Dakotas. He was also a welder, nurse, and EMT. Before retiring in 2025, Terry had worked in the Parts Dept. at Liberal Kenworth. He had a great love for bull riding, Nascar, fishing, amateur storm chasing, and most recently Oklahoma City Thunder basketball. Additionally, his love for his children and grandchildren was limitless. They were his pride and joy as well as his greatest achievements. Terry's simple but bright expressions towards his children and grandchildren were remarkable and his greatest pride was being called "Pop Pop"
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Lynn Overton; Son, Garett Overton of Tyrone, OK; Daughter, Kristin DiCenso of Oklahoma City, OK; Bonus Children, Chris Floyd of San Antonio, TX; Dr. Dustin (Katherine) Henderson of Spring, TX; Megan Henderson of Colorado; 10 Grandchildren; Seven Sisters, Cindy, Sandy, Donna, Theresa, Krystal, Katrina and Lynn along with their significant others.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Carolyn Brewer; Brother, Wesley Brewer; and Grandparents.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday March 7, 2026 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Chuck Scroggs officiating.
Per Terry's wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Donations be made payable to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in care of Miller Mortuary.
