Viola M. Hodges

Liberal KS˜˜ ˜ Viola M. Hodges, 65,˜ Liberal, KS, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Grace Living Center,˜ Woodward, OK. ˜She was born October 23, 1946 in Liberal, KS, the daughter of Kenneth C. & Maxine O. Richardson Trisler. ˜ She graduated Liberal High School and was a sales clerk at Ben Franklin Store for several years.˜ She married Don Hodges in 1970. ˜ Viola cared for many children in her home for many years. She enjoyed life, teaching & training children, and most of all her children and grandchildren. ˜ She is survived her husband, Don Hodges;˜ three sons, David Hodges, Liberal, KS; Jonathan Hodges, Denver, CO; Daniel Hodges Pueblo, CO;˜ three brothers, Dennis Trisler and wife Kay, Coffeyville, KS; Albert˜ "Butch" Trisler and wife Jenny, Hooker, OK; Roy Trisler and wife Jeri, Dodge City, KS; two sisters, Martha Loomis, Woodward, OK; Kimberly Laudick and husband Steve. Lakin, KS; five grandchildren, Olivia, Kolton, Dylan, Kyle & Brody.˜ She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert Trisler,˜ a nephew Brandon Laudick. ˜ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Miller Chapel, with Rev. Harold J. Hodges˜ presiding. ˜ interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens. ˜ Friends may call at Miller Mortuary 9 A.M.- 8 P.M.
