Kenny McCune

Kenneth Edwin "Kenny" McCune, Jr., 71, of Liberal, passed away peacefully on Friday May 14, 2021 at his home in Liberal, KS surrounded by the staff who loved him.

He was born on August 11, 1949 to Kenneth and Ramona (Bomberger) McCune at Beloit, KS.

Kenny has been in Liberal and a part of the MOSAIC community since 1988. He loved music, especially the Beatles. He was often the life of the party and the DJ always switching the tunes if he didn’t think it fit the mood. Kenny was a sweet man and he had a special talent for mimicking and throwing his voice. He also loved sitting outside in his swing and listening to the different sounds, the birds, the lawn mowers; often times Kenny enjoyed just laying in the grass. Kenny was an over comer, a survivor. He had many friends at Mosaic and made some lifelong connections with other individuals and staff there as well. His spirit touched many people and made a positive impact in the world to those who had a chance to know him.

Kenny is survived by his MOSAIC family members and staff.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
