Maria Teresa Fonseca

Maria Teresa Fonseca, 63, of Liberal, KS passed away on  March 28, 2021 at Protection Valley Manor in Protection, KS.

She was born on April 1, 1957 in Havana, Cuba to Fransisco Curbelo and Caridad Pineda.

She attended school at Fernando Chenar Pina.

Maria came to the United States in 1995 and moved to Liberal in 1998 from Austin, TX. She was a housewife for most of her life; helping raise her grandchildren and great grandson. She enjoyed crocheting.

Maria is survived by Daughter, Yusmila Socarras of Liberal, KS; Son Yoel Santiesteban Curbelo of Cuba. Grandchildren, Yunaisy Rayas, Eric Valenzuela, Judy Valenzuela, and Yasmin Valenzuela; Great Grandson Julian Nava.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place.
